Tamir regularly acts as counsel or arbitrator in international commercial arbitration proceedings seated in or outside Switzerland. He is admitted to practice in three different jurisdictions and speaks 7 languages.

• Counsel for Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) in its internal investigation and in ancillary proceedings
• Defending a large globally active entity in its Swiss Rules arbitration against an Italian plaintiff with a value in dispute of EUR 380 million
• Acting as plaintiff’s counsel in a large insurance claim lodged against a reputable insurance syndicate with a value in dispute of CHF 150 million
• Acting as defense counsel in a large cross-border litigation before the Commercial Court of London with a value in dispute of USD 92 million
• Acting for a number of defendants in an ICC construction arbitration commenced by a Turkish state-owned entity with a value in dispute of CHF 35 million
