NKF advised Newron Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. on private placement

Niederer Kraft Frey acted as Swiss counsel to SIX listed biopharmaceutical company Newron Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. on its successful private placement that raised gross proceeds of approximately CHF 27.0 million. By way of an accelerated bookbuilding, Newron shares were placed with investors both in Europe and the United States (pursuant to an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the US Securities Act of 1933, as amended).

Newron focuses on the development of novel therapies for patients with diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. The company is headquartered in Bresso near Milan, Italy.
