Nestlé Skin Health acquired by EQT and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority

Niederer Kraft Frey advised the arrangers on the financing for the CHF 10.2 billion acquisition of Nestlé Skin Health by EQT and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).

Nestlé Skin Health was founded in 1981 as a joint venture between Nestlé S.A. (Nestlé) and L’Oréal under the name “Galderma”. Since 2014 Galderma was the fully owned subsidiary of Nestlé. It offers a range of medical and consumer skin health solutions through three business units: Aesthetics, Prescription and Consumer Care, with combined revenues of CHF 2.8 billion and approximately 5,000 employees worldwide.

The NKF team was led by Finance partner Marco Häusermann, working with Tax partner Markus Kronauer and senior associate Christine Hohl (Finance).
