Swiss Post acquires majority stake in Tresorit

Niederer Kraft Frey acted as Swiss counsel to Tresorit on the sale of a majority stake to Swiss Post.

Tresorit provides an encrypted productivity solution for secure collaboration, combining patented end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and zero-knowledge technology.

Swiss Post is the national postal service of Switzerland.

The NKF team was led by M&A partner Moritz Maurer working with associate Alexander Göbel (M&A).

DLA Piper acted as lead counsel for Tresorit. The team was led by Hungary-based partner Gabor Molnar working with Counsel Levente Torma as well as Senior Associates Gabor Spitz and Eszter Fodor.
