Thomson Reuters and Blackstone close Financial & Risk transaction

Niederer Kraft Frey advised Swiss group companies of Thomson Reuters in a major complex cross-border restructuring resulting in Thomson Reuters to sell its Financial & Risk business, nowadays known as Refinitiv, into a joint venture managed by Blackstone for a price of USD 17 billion. The transaction was closed on 1 October 2018.
