SF-Filter Group on its sale to Swiss entrepreneurs Sara and Christoph Hürlimann

Niederer Kraft Frey acted as legal counsel to SF-Filter Group in the auction and subsequent sale to Swiss entrepreneurs Sara and Christoph Hürlimann. The transaction was implemented by way of a multi-layered transaction involving the lenders under SF-Filter Group’s senior facilities agreement as well as funds advised by Equistone Partners Europe, SF-Filter Group’s former shareholders.

The new ownership structure secures SF-Filter Group’s continued operations across Europe and puts the group on a stable financial footing going forward. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Bachenbülach, Switzerland, SF-Filter Group has grown into the leading European distributor of aftermarket filtration solutions that protect equipment, processes and the environment across mobile and industrial applications, with operations across Europe, including Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Poland and Belgium.
