Boris Vittoz is a Swiss-qualified attorney with some 25 years of experience in international arbitration and complex cross‑border litigation. He has acted in over 60 arbitrations under the major institutional rules, both as counsel and as arbitrator, including appointments as Sole Arbitrator and President. He previously served as an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne and was a member of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre for six years.
Boris advises clients in high‑value international commercial disputes across a wide range of industries, with particular expertise in post‑M&A matters, life sciences, construction, finance, sports, and trusts and estates. He regularly handles enforcement proceedings in Switzerland, including the recognition of foreign awards and judgments, asset attachments, and insolvency‑related measures. He frequently leads multidisciplinary and multijurisdictional teams in complex disputes.
In addition to his Swiss law background, he holds a postgraduate diploma in EC and European law from the University of Paris I, with a focus on EU competition law.
