Acquisition of Hyperstone by Swissbit

On 11 December 2020, Swissbit Holding AG, a specialist provider of data-storage and embedded IoT solutions for industrial applications, agreed to acquire Hyperstone GmbH, Hyperstone Asia Pacific Ltd and Hyperstone Inc., a leading supplier of flash memory controllers. Hyperstone’s existing management will reinvest in the company as part of the transaction and will also hold a stake in the company in the future. The transaction is still subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
