Empira Group starts Expansion in Switzerland with Residential Development Project
Niederer Kraft Frey advised the Empira Group on the acquisition and the financing of its first residential development project in Switzerland. Empira plans to build around 230 residential units, supplemented by commercial space and a kindergarten, on the approximately 31,000 sqm “Crypto Areal” site in Steinhausen, Canton of Zug by 2029.
The Empira Group manages assets worth approximately USD 10 billion in Europe and the United States. Empira is part of Partners Group since 2025. The group’s headquarters are in Zug, and it has additional offices in Germany, Luxembourg, the US, the UK, Sweden, and Austria.
