Antin Infrastructure Partners acquires NorthC Datacentres
Niederer Kraft Frey acted as Swiss legal counsel to Antin Infrastructure Partners on its agreement to acquire NorthC Datacentres from DWS and other shareholders, a data centre platform with substantial operations in Switzerland, advising on all Swiss-related aspects of the transaction.
Antin has a long track record of investing in and scaling critical digital infrastructure platforms across Europe, targeting investments in the energy and environment, digital, transport and social infrastructure sectors.
Based in Amsterdam, NorthC operates 25 colocation data centres across major metropolitan areas in the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. NorthC has more than 140 MW of secured gross grid capacity from existing and greenfield sites to support future growth, and serves more than 1,600 customers, including cloud and IT service providers, carriers, public sector organisations, financial institutions, industry, transport, healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
